THE FIRST FULL WEDDING CEREMONY AT THE KINGSWAY FUNCTION ROOMS

A piece of History was made recently when Kingsway Function Rooms hosted the first ever full wedding ceremony to be held on the premises. Widnes couple Nicola McAuley and John Campbell were married in the McCausland Suite (Masonic Lodge room), surrounded by friends and relatives, all of whom were very impressed by how well the room complimented the occasion, and by the warm welcome from staff at the venue. Nicola commented 'Everyone at the Hall worked so hard to make our day special, nothing was too much trouble and we can't possibly thank them enough!' Over 100 guests were served with a superb hot and cold buffet provided by Pat and her staff of the resident caterers, Sugar & Spice Catering, and the Master of Ceremonies ensured that everything ran smoothly - and provided a great talking point! The reception room then hosted the evening disco for 190, with another excellent buffet meal, and guests also had exclusive use of the bar area - for quieter conversation! Parents Peter & Anita and Tony & Carolyn were equally impressed by the venue and staff, and would most definitely recommend the Kingsway Function Rooms for any couple looking to find a fabulous venue for their big day!
